Excellence in Learning Partnerships Award NOMINATION FORM (PDF Review copy)
The Excellence in Learning Partnerships Award recognizes partnerships that include the school council, and support parent and community involvement in education to benefit the community and enhance the learning experience of students.
Criteria
- The school council involved in the nominated partnership project must be an ASCA member in good standing.
- The nomination demonstrates encouragement and enhancement of the learning experience of students.
- School Council and parent community engagement was involved in all aspects of the project development, implementation and evaluation
- The nominated partnership initiative embraces and supports the values and principles of ASCA
- The partnership encompasses identifiable benefits to the community
Guidelines
- This nomination form should include the completed page(s) attached:
- The indicator sheet with specific supporting examples to demonstrate how the partnership project utilized parent community involvement to enhance the learning experience of students, and
- Additional information to further outline details of how the project benefited the community and meets the criteria for this award. (Benefits derived can include quantitative measures as well as qualitative results yet to be realized).
*Please note – a maximum of six (6) pages will be accepted (including the form).
- Recipient will be awarded as determined by the selection committee’s review process.
- Nominations must be received in the ASCA office by March 1st to be considered by the review committee and recommended for approval to the ASCA Board of Directors.
- All eligible nominees will be recognized.
- Recipients will be announced at the ASCA Annual Conference. Award presentations will take place in the school community.
